 Parrot Island Divers and Scuba Marcos are a group of scuba instructors who enjoy diving and teaching scuba to new students.   It doesn't matter who your instructor was or what agency certified you or who competed your pool and class training.   Join us to complete your scuba certification on any Parrot Island vacation.  We just want to dive and have fun.  We're happy to have you along.

Thank you very much to all who went.  We dived the SPIEGEL GROVE, the Ben Wood, and  the reefs in Penny kemp state park.  The current was a bit strong, but we had a great time anyway.    The sunset in Key West at Mallory Square was a perfect ending to a wonderful weekend.

Ride the Dolphins!

Join us the first weekend of every month!  Panama City Beach is the second most dived location in the United States. There are many shipwrecks and man-made dive spots that attract countless varieties of fish, even turtles and dolphins.

Take your class and pool training in TN,  then go to Florida and get your certification in the sunny Gulf.  This includes all four scuba check-out dives, a 2-tank boat dive, and 2 dives at the Jetties, or 4 dives at Vortex Spring.   You may take your pool training and class with any PADI instructor,  then go to Florida or the Caribbean with Marcos and Parrot Island Divers for your check-out dives.  

Open Water students have to complete 4 checkout dives to become certified.  We will try to do a calm shallow walk-in dive in the ocean at the jetties first. The jetties are Located in the St Andres State park .  This will allow you to get used to the water and your gear.  Then we're off to the boat for an exiting 4 hours out in the Gulf.  If the ocean is not divable, we'll go to one of the local fresh water springs.

Complete you Open Water Check-out dives with me add $100

We drive down Friday and drive back Sunday.
We'll stop at the fresh water springs for a couple of dives for fun and to rinse our salty gear.

Cost is based on double occupancy (2 Divers per room). Each addition diver per room cost $125.
Each addition non-diver per room is free. Bring your non diving friends and family for free.
